Bottle from Pivoteka NZG. Hazy ruby taste, tiny off white head. Berry milky diacetylish caramelly aroma, strange. Cherry tart taste towards toast/rye touches. Drinkable enough. Okay enough, original.

Pours unclear dark amber, small to no head. Smell is kinda sweet, complex, some dark sugars. Taste is sour ( didn’t see that coming ) bone dry, astrigent, bit bitter. Minerally, some dark Sugar complexity (no sweetness though) in the back.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Deep ruby, diminishing beige-pink head, floaties. Smells really off - slightly toasty and very fatty and oily, cooking oil. Even some hints of booze. The taste is surprisingly different - quite sour, zippy lactic acidity, faint hints of sour cherries and something nutty and oily in the finish. Not bad as casual sour beer, but has nothing in common with Russian style kvass.

Red with little beige head. Aroma is sweet cherries, honey, some red wine, tanins, still fresh. Taste is more red wine, sour, slight bittersweet fruits. Fresh on the tongue. Enjoyable.
