GBBF Day 3. Cask. Thanks to Ian’s mate for the sample from the Volunteer Arms. Almost clear pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Light clean pale malts. Mild floralness. Modest lemony citrus. Light finish. Breezey and nicely joined up.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2015. Clear yellow gold lasting white head. Light butter Diacetyl. Decent condition. thanks to Stephen from the volunteers bars.

From cask. Pours pale yellow. Small white head. Aroma is grassy, light herbal. Dry and bitter. Herbal dry finish. Bitter and mild fruity.

Hazy blond colour. Aroma is a bit metallic. Some floral hop comes through too. Texture is soft and smooth. It’s fresh and clean with a distinct citrusy hop offering a moderately bitter finish.

Sour golden ale and a strong bitterness in the palate. It also has a weak body.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium orange color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light to moderate hoppy, citrus, orange, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, peel bitter, damp stain - fusty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100803]

Cask@GBBF2010. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, honey, wood and some mild spicy notes. Flavour is quite much the same along with some mild berryish notes as well. Pleasant.
