Stark hefiger Antrunk, der bald gediegener wird, dafür aber auch spritziger. Eine leichte Banenennote ist durchgehend präsent, zum Ende etwas herber, weiter aber frisch und fruchtig. Nette Weisse. 11/10/11/9//10

(draught at the brewpub) Cloudy, light-amber colour with a tall and firm almost white foamy head. Sweet banana-fruity aroma with a present wheat-character, accompanied by subtle spicy notes. Mildly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Wheaty and yeasty taste with notes of banana and a tinge of herbal hops; almost dry, mildly bitter and slightly fruity finish with herbal hoppy spice. Good. 17.IV.11

Muddy dull tan. Full malt and banana aroma. Light body is a touch watery but this works in context of the defined flavours and refreshing finish. The banana and yeast are light, so the beer leans towards a malt accent.

Draught at the brewpub. Banana aroma with a hint of grassy hops. Cloudy dark orange colour. Nice stable creamy white head. The flavour is a lot like most other Hefeweizens, this one with the emphasis on the citrus. Clean and refreshing.

Draft. An unclear very light yellow beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with quite a lot of citrus notes, making it very fresh. The flavor is very sweet with some notes of citrus, which reminds me of vitamin c, leading to a light and rather dry wheaty finish. The body is a bit light.

(On tap) Cloudy, pale golden with a creamy, white head. Distinct aroma of yeast and banana. Fairly light body with a rather high carbonation and a light fruitiness. A bit too much phenol and sulphur for my liking. 091106
