Bottle from Lidl. Pours faintly cloudy brown-copper with a very large spongy tan head, fruity caramel aroma, adequate carbonation, initially sweet caramel malt taste with plum, possibly pear and nutmeg, smooth thin body, long dried fruits finish. Feels more like a dubbel to me. Smooth and tasty.

11.2 ounce bottle thanks to hershiser2! 9/26/22. Dark purplish. Large foamy beige head, good retention. Aroma of plum, spice, banana bread, candi sugar, stone fruit. Kinda smells like a dubbel. Taste is stone fruit, plum, cotton candi, candi sugar, bread. Some charred marshmallow in the very back end. Full bodied, complex, booze almost unnoticeable. This is very good.

Florals and some clove. Amber pour with good head. Decent tripel, with good balance. Some lime. Bottle from buddy who got it at Lidl.

I see that the label says 'tripel', but this isn't a tripel - it's a dubbel. Deep super hazy ruby and light bronze coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of alcohol, honey, light grain, malts, a touch of nuts and a dose of light coriander seed and curacao, but the alcohol and astringent notes are the strongest. Medium to Full-bodied; Deep robust wheat and yeast notes at first with a big bready and astringent flavour that ends with a lot of honey and grain, some citrus in the form of curacao and a touch of grasses and dry hay flavours toward the end. Aftertaste is astringent with alcohol, pungent grain, honey and a touch of bitterness from some light hops. Overall, a nice and pungent beer that shows a robust bitter flavour with a lot of alcohol with only a touch of sweetness and a funky yeast note that shows much more of dubbel than a tripel in flavour and smell, but colour as well. I sampled this 33 cL stubby bottle purchased from Lidl Supermarket in Manassas, Virginia by my coworker on 18-January-2018 for US$8,99/four pack sampled at home in Washington as the Belgians beat the Panamanians in the FIFA World Cup 2018 on 18-June-2018. Thanks Tom!
