Live at CBF 2012. Phenolic raspberry aroma, DMS. Orange golden, offwhite head. Somewhat off fruit notes. Dry full body. Ok sorry, not impressed.

On tap at Ølfestival 2011. A clear one, dark amber in color and with a dense, medium sized, beige head. Strawberry jam, sugar and some peaches on the nose, definitely not my idea of a DIPA aroma. The flavor is a tad better, with sweet maltyness as a base, and fruityness and berries up front. Not very DIPA-ish, but not borderline bad either. Lacking on bitterness all the way. Medium body, rather sticky. Well, not my idea of a DIPA, wonder if it’s supposed to be like this. And, you don’t use EKG as The hop for a DIPA. 110526

Draught@CPH BF 2011. Reddish amber colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is leathery, mild nectar, some syrup as well as wooden. Flavour is leathery, fruity, mild floral and grassy notes as well. A bit too sweet, and the leathery notes are also a bit strange.

KØ11. Buttery berry aroma. Clear chestnut colour. Distinct smokey flavour, berry notes. Not IPA in my book, and not the first Brewpub beer with weird smoke notes.

100ml on tap at the beer festival in Copenhagen. Clear, dark amber, tiny, beige coloured head. Brittle caramel to the nose with hints of herbs and fruity hops. Large amounts of caramel malts in flavour added by dried fruits. Dry bitter ending. Tingling alcohol on the tongue. A good one, but not outstanding in any way (27.05.2011).

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Clear mahogany colour. Light spicy ha yaroma. Syrupy and sticky. Very sweet with full body. Some pears and caramel, lots and lots of syrup. Dull sugary finish. Exceptionally low drinkability, yet not much to enjoy.
