Hazy light orange colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour offer a little hint of yeast. Well balanced. Easy to drink and pleasantly dry. Very low sweetness in this one which is very good.

Morpheus, quand tu nous tiens ! Rien qu'au nez, pas de soucis, on sait de suite que cette saison a été brassée avec cette levure qui donne à la bière ce côté terroir que l'on retrouve notamment dans les cidres fermiers. J'avoue que j'apprécie plutôt cela, d'autant plus que l'acidité y reste modérée. Tout aurait été dans le meilleur des mondes si cette saison n'avait pas présenté une aigreur certaine en arrière-bouche et en final, qui est pour ma part quasi rédhibitoire. Joli blond doré limpide en verre avec une mousse blanche nappant toit juste la surface. Pleine expression de la levure morpheus au nez avec un côté fermier affirmé avec des arômes de pomme, de raisin et une pointe de paic citron. On retrouve ces arômes à l'attaque avec en complément des épices et de la poire. L'acidité reste maîtrisée conférant une bonne fraîcheur. A noter cependant une astringence relativement marquée. L'acidité augmente très légèrement en seconde bouche tout en restant acceptable. L'alcool à 6% est plutôt pas mal également. L’arrière-bouche et le final sont alors malheureusement marqués par une aigreur désagréable. Longueur et corpulence sont quant à elles respectables. J'étais à deux doigts d'apprécier la morpheus.

Keg at Beaverex 2018, day one, 07/09/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is straw, lemon rind, tangy orange peel, wood must. Taste comprises grains, lemon rind, sharp citric peel, wood must, light yeast, damp straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Ok saison.

27 February 2019. At Kantien, Ghent. Shared with the lovely Anke! Pours clear dark golden with a lasting, small, foamy, white head; some lacing. Aroma of apple peel, hay, straw, unripe apricot, sourdough, mandarin, lemon zest, cheese. Taste is light fruity sweet, a bit estery, unripe or green banana next to apple, pear & honey, building up a medium funky sourness with hay, sourdough, lactic acid & yeast, whilst spicy tones of pepper, earth & early hops keep it all in balance. Dryish, peppery hoppy finish, bit tart too, lingering hay, yeast, lactic acid, faintly warming white wine-like alcohol (definitely not too apparent). Medium body, slick-oily texture, soft carbonation. Nice one, balanced, and refreshing.

(bottle) hazy, bright orange amber colour with a medium tall white head; aroma of candy sugar, spice; balanced flavour, not as dry as most; long medium bitter finish. Nice.

Quite a dynamic beer here. Pours hazy golden with explosive head - a gusher. Citrus and something likeoak and apricot. Bottle.

330ml bottle. (6.0% ABV) Pours a cloudy orange-yellow with a large, foamy, long lasting, white head that leaves thick curtains of lace. Aroma of grainy malt, funky yeast, orange peel, apricot, peach and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy malt, funky yeast, orange peel, apricot, peach, white grape, spice and herbal with a dry, bitter, slightly sour, floral hop finish. Medium body with an oily texture and soft carbonation. Well made.
