Tap at BXL festival. Bit hazy reddish brown with beige head. Sweet malts, red wine, soft berries and funk. Hay, sweet cherries, light caramel and cola. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with a bit fizzy carbonation.

7 3 8 3 15 Draft at BXL Beer Fest, Brussels ’17. Hazy brown with a tan head. Aroma of tart dark fruits, oak, caramel and a light funk. Flavour is moderate sweet and above light sour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cola bruin met lichte kraag. Aroma van wijn, hout (eik), druif, suiker, zoet, fruit. Smaken van eikenhout, wat droog, vanille, alcohol, rood fruit, slap, dun/waterig, maar wat mij het meeste tegen valt is de wat metalige/ijzeren achtergrond, niet aangenaam, dit icm met de slappe body en dunne waterige textuur kom ik niet hoger dan een 3.3

Bottle from Geers. Dark brown colour, beige foam. Intense complex nose of red fruit, berries, red wine, balsamic vinegar. Taste is more disappointing. Bitter, bit mettalic, light sweet, bit fruity but not like the aroma. All in all not a bad beer but the taste could have more complexity.

Bottle in garden, 17th June 17. Pours a dark murky red brown. Aroma is barrel, wood malt and liquor. Taste is barrel, vineous, bitter, quite complex, refreshing, sour and tart, slight Flemish red about it. Liked it.
