Cask at the White Swan, Cambridge - as London Glory. Pours dark amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of caramel, hop, fruit and malt. Medium plus sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Not particularly enjoyable.

Cask at the Fleece Inn, Penwortham. As Greene King London Glory. Pours clear amber with a thick white head. Aromas of light malt and red fruit. Faint biscuit. Taste is light sweet malt, more red fruit. Sweet finish.

Cask@Horse & Groom, Streatham, London - (as London Glory) Amber pour with small white head. Vague toasty slightly sweet malty, cereal, caramel, light watery body, almost tasteless.

Cask @ White Swan, Hebden Bridge. Clear copper with a glow. Has a small creamy head. It’s a malty session bitter with a very malty-sweet nose.

Pint at the Eagle, Cambridge. Auburn brown with a small loose cream-coloured head. Lots of lacing. Raspberries, chocolate, cola and oak reward you in the modest aroma. Fruity taste, very sweet, with only slight bitter undertones. Chocolate and raisin in the finish. Oily body. This is really good, especially considering the source.

Amber color with a creamy off white head. Quite fruity and caramel malty aroma. A bit thin body and very soft carbonation. Tad sweet and a mild bitterness. Fruity and toffee in the flavor.

(on tap) Clear mahogany, white head. Very littel aroma. Light body, light carbonation. Candy and caramel foretaste, falls flat and watery. Overall OK, but rather disappointingly flat in finish.

Gravity dispense at the ’Quinns Head’ pub inside Twickenham Stoop Rugby ground during half time of the Harlequins vs Salegame - 15/09/12. Badged as ’London Glory’. Clear mid amber with a thinnish off-white head that retained well. Typical Green King nose, yeast, light toffee. Taste follows, grain, toffee. Medium bodied with that dry GK finish. Dull.

Cask at the Goat and Tricycle, Bournemouth. A lovely golden brown pour, with a nice white lacy frothy head. No real aroma and nothing special taste wise either. It's a classic English bitter with a nice malty flavour and a bitter palate. A very decent session ale, but nothing that makes is stand out from the crowd. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
