gift from theis, thanks. clear light brown, smooth offwhite head. nutty malty, bitter hoppy (macro hops) . aroma resembles a vienna a little bit. flavor is malty, caramelly sweet, pretty sweet lager. very faint flowery note to the caramelly sweetness. typical danish lager bitterness stil there to balance. Not bad. re-rate as godt bryg albani 1859 clear light brown, fluffy light brown head. syruppy and malty aroma, almost fruity. flavor is sweet malty, slightly syruppy, notes of corn, bitter balance from hops and malts, slightly metallic. traditional danish classic style beer. probably the kind of beer that classic was invented to be like. the original rating numbers are fine.

Bottle, from trade with dedollewaitor. Caramel and pleasant fruityness on the nose, but still quite boring and macro. Caramel and a nice grassy bitterness in the flavor, some notes of cooked vegetables. Slightly buttery. Dry, medium body. Short caramel finish. Well, a quite drinkable one, but nothing impressive going on. 110601

Bottle, 5.2%. Lagery aroma with dark malt notes. Clear dark amber colour. Big, stable, rocky off-white head. The flavour is suprisingly sweet, resembling hvidtøl, but of course not so extremely sweet. Low bitterness. Good mouthfeel. Sweet, but well-balanced. Much better than expected.
