UB No Coast IPA is a highly aromatic hybrid of West Coast and East Coast IPA styles with a blend of old school piney hops and new world fruit forward hops. The addition of wheat gives this IPA a full yet soft mouthfeel.

Can shared by Steve. Lightly hazy pale yellow, thin cap of head fading to a ring and no lacing. Aroma is strong pine and somewhat industrial lemon cleanser/band aid, Flintstone orange vitamin--somewhat funky. Taste is strong band aid/lemon cleanser, Flintstone vitamin, somewhat musty. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation, finish as taste. They say the perfect solution to a negotiation is when neither side is happy. Not West Coast, not East Coast but it's not that it delivers both well, it delivers neither well. Glad to sample the brewer and hope for another opportunity.

Shaker Pint draft at Crafty Irishman Pub in Dallas, Texas. The pour is a clear golden with a limited white head. The aroma is a faint floral hop along with honey malt. The taste is a mix of the floral, soft resin and honey sweet malt. The palate is light to medium bodied soft to low carbonation with a slightly muddled floral yeast finish.

A new brewery to me out of Texas and I have their indecisive IPA to try. I have a 12 oz can purchased at Total Wine in Fort Worth on Black Friday last November. There is a tulip glass in place for the pour and I proceed. The appearance is an unclear gold liquid carrying a slender top of absolutely white foam. The smell is fine with fruit, white bread and a bare bit of hops. The taste is more distinct. There is peaches, crackers, some pineapple, orange peel and pine. Bitterness? There is some. I think the brewer may be right, there is something from WC and NE styles in the beer, something I have seen in other IPAs for a while now. A decent beer I would undoubtedly drink again.

At the source while in Plano for work. Ran out of places to go. Clear, medium gold, extra frothy & sticky. Orange, subtle strawberry nose. Obvious fruity, mild white onion bite, black pepper bite, boozy vodka & oj; frothy. Kinda good.
