Bottle. God locking black body with a nice dense beige head. A bit medium kinda aroma, some dark, medium roasted malt with hint of coffee. Weak in flavor, mild dark malt, light roasted, feels a bit thin and watery with hint of yeast in aftertaste. Not a big hit by my, the best thing is how I looks in the glass.

RBHD-samling hos RB-Bryne. Med denne forlot vi brått komfortsonens hovedmanesje, hvor vi hadde delikatert oss med noen herlige ratinger. Derfor blir dette kanskje en urettferdig vurdering (rett etter Cold Hand Malus Danica). 0,5 flaske. Brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Overmodne solbær og bjørnebær iblandet sur kaffe. Direkte usjarmerende.

Shared bottle at local tasting, as Kvernafossen Kvernsteinsøl Stout. ABV 4.7%. Black colour, beige head. Aroma of roast malts, coffee and dark chocolate. Thin mouthfeel. Acceptable flavour of roast malts and thin coffee. Dull finish.

KØLF 021118. Dark brown color with atan head Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. A little bit weak beer.

Nice light brown fizzy-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet roasted, dark malts, roasted grain, toast, dark sugar, hay, minerals, chocolate, hints of coffee. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, weeds, sour-ish roasted grain, sour coffee, soil, bark, burnt toast, grass, dark malts, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish roasted mouthfeel. Fair enough.
