Bottle at home. Pours hazy dark copper with off-white head. Aroma of coffee, cookies, notes of chocolate, caramel and some fruity notes. Tastes slightly sweet with balancing bitterness. Medium bodied.

750 ml bottle, from Coop Mega, Klepp. ABV is 4.5%. Cloudy brown colour, huge off-white head. Aroma of brown malts, brown bread and caramel, hints of prunes and other dark dried fruits, a faint hint of mild spices. Fizzy mouthfeel, overcarbonated. Flavour with the same elements as the aroma, but not sweet. Also a bit yeasty. Rather boring, to be frank.

Nice bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head, hazy dark amber color. Aroma is slightly sweet sour-ish roasted, sap, grass, caramel malts, soil, fruit stones, bloodlike minerals, nuts, raisins, bark. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish mineraly, weeds, bark, roasted grain, bloodlike minerals, grass, toast, soil, paper, nuts. Medium bitterness, slightly harsh sour-ish mineraly mouthfeel. So boring.

Betryggende stor flaske (takk til Odd Gunnar!) fra Vaaland på Bryne, hjemme mens julekortene skrives: mørkebrun kobber med højt skum som varer. Et solid og godt, maltdrevet øl med nøtter, karameller og ristet brød. Behagelig bitterhet i avslutningen gir inspirasjon til julekortene.
