Sweet and lightly toasted malty, getting old school sticky toffee apple, caramel, spices, bourbon coming through, apple, cinnamon spiced toffee sweet malty and bourbon laced warming dessert wine like sweet warming lingering finish. Works well

Panda at home, thanks to Kenneth, 15/02/25.
Deep chestnut brown topped with a thin beige cap that veers edgewards.
Nose is bourbon, toffee, fruit cake, spice, herb, dark malts, brown sugar melt.
Taste comprises dates, toffee, tangy fruit rinds, spice, bourbon soaked oak, vinous, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close with a balanced spike of alcohol.
Tidy BA BW.

Can. Near clear deep amber beer, short lived pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. A fairly thin malt base, mouthfeel wise, a little richer on the taste buds - mild caramel and toffee. A vibrant and strong apple flavour goes well with the malts, toffee apple - apples. Smooth cinnamon into a decent bourbon soaked ripe fruit thang. Hmmm, take a dessert Barleywine and barrel age it! Why the hell not? This works very well and combines those elements effortlessly.
