Tap @ NBFD. Dee pdark brown color. Hint of whisky and licorice in the aroma. Dried cherries. Malt, a hint of roast, whisky and dried cherries in the flavor. Thinnish and alcoholic.

Draught @ BAF 2016 [ Borefts After Festival: BAF! ] @ Brouwerij Kaapse, Veerlaan 19-D, Rotterdam, Netherlands 3072 AN. [ As Kompaan 39 Bloedbroeder (Aberlour BA) ].Clear dark black brown colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, sweet malt, chocolate, dark fruit, plum, prunes, alcohol - whisky. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, roasted, sweet malt, dark malt, plum - prunes, dark fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light light alcoholic. [20160925] 7-4-8-4-15

[9/25/16] Draught sample at Borefts After Festival 2016 in Rotterdam. Dark brown to black. Peaty aroma. Sweet flavor with chocolate, smoky peat, roast, caramel, a bit of alcohol.

Draught at Kompaan, small stable creamy head, light vanila aroma with dark bread and a coffee backbone, coffee and dark bread flavor with some barnyard, not too complex but feels quite rich and tounge coating. Really nice.

Keg at Kompaan, Den Haag, Sunday 2nd October 2016 Pours black as yer ’at with a light beige head. The mouthfeel is very soft, the whisky filters back up the nose when in the mouth. It’s not at all boozy, really quite tangy, it’s not your usual Impy Stout, it wasn’t before the BA and it certainly isn’t now. Like this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Thank you for sharing Israeli Crew! Sampled draft @ BAF 2016. Dark brown to black, small tanned head. Nose is huge raw peat, varnish, nail polish, vinous, raw peat. Flat body, varnish, overly boozy, peat. Taste is harsh nail polish, flat peat, lightly sour, varnish, flat, industrial peat, boozy. Nope, totally ruined the base in my opinion.

On tap at Kimchi 2016. Black with a tan head. Aroma of rum, woody barrel notes, vanilla, caramel, dark chocolate and overripe dark fruit. Flavour is light heavy sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with light carbonation. [13/08/2016]
