Bottle from the Bristol Cider Shop. Hazy gold in colour and dead flat. Tart, slightly acidic, apple aroma. Flavour was dry, with some mouth puckering acidity and balancing fruit. Strangely refreshing. Ok.

Bottle from a shop in Hay-on-Wye, Herefordshire, purchased 27.11.10 consumed 05.12.10 Golden in colour with haze, no bubbles, first piss of the day sort of look. Aroma is appley with a dash of white wine vinegar. Taste is a little sour, quite a bit of acidy number, Loz really likes this and whilst I can appreciate it I find it repeats a little, high tannins. Very bittersweet and good although not really for me, be interesting to see what I’ve thought of other Brownsnout S/V ciders. . A7 A4 T5 P3 Ov12 3.1
