Pours flat and light brown. It's 10 years old at this point. Quite balsamic. Brown sugar, tart, light spice, rounded barrel character. Lots of fun, and it's held up quite well. Complex. Balanced. Yeah.

Bottle @ Matt’s house, courtesy of Armin. Thanks! Pours a hazy reddish appearance with a thin tan head. Vinegar, black cherry, vanilla, blackberry aroma. Tangy, dark cherry, blackberry, red wine, vanilla, rich vinegar flavor. A bit oxidized. Not bad.

22 oz. bottle, sent from St. Fun (thanks a lot, Josh), pours a fairly clear orange amber with a medium beige head. Aroma is very complex, full of white wine, brett, cinnamon and nutmeg - sounds bizarre, but it somehow works beautifully. Flavour brings out notes of white wine, highly tart light fruits, a moderate brett presence, with trace elements of cinnamon and nutmeg. You wouldn't think such qualities would work well together, but somehow it all works. Medium tart mouthfeel, with a bit of vinegar, and a finish of pumpkin and nutmeg. Decent, but too acidic and vinegary for me.

Bottle on the RBSG 2012 bus. Dirty brown color. Nose of lemon, vinegar, spice. Flavor is very acetic, fruity vinegar, spice, but a rather simple aged character. Quite strange and not all that great.

Bottle, 22oz. An almost clear one, golden in color and with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma has some vinegar and lemon, a touch of dried fruits as well as berries and some vanilla. Quite interesting. Berries, dried fruits, lemon, some vinegar and a touch of vanilla in the flavor. Medium bodied, dry and semi-tart on the palate. A really tasteful one, but I think it hides the spices a bit too much. Might be the age I guess. 110930

Bottle shared by the very generous richiesd! It pours slightly hazy orange-amber, with a thin white head. The nose is red grape, sweet tangerine, pumpkin, wood, vinous aspect, tartness, Granny Smith apple and some spice. The taste is initially tart lemon, sour green apple and white grape, then smoothes out to spice, pumpkin, wood, clementine and tangerine, with dryness in the finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Very well balance - it’s shouldn’t work, but it does!

Aroma of pumpkin, spice, brown sugar. Very tart. The taste is also very tart with notes of pumpkin, floral notes, spice and cherries. Medium bodied. Nice.
