Pour cette IPA, nous avons mis l’accent sur les houblons aromatiques avec un assemblage de Magnum, Summit et une touche de Sorachi Ace en houblonnage à cru. Le résultat : une bière expressive à la robe caramel aux reflets rouge-auburn, surmontée d’une fine mousse blanc cassé. Au nez, des notes fruitées accompagnées d’aneth et d’une touche de coco, typiques du Sorachi Ace. En bouche, les arômes de malt caramélisé apportent de la rondeur avant de laisser place à une belle amertume équilibrée, pour une finale sèche et parfumée.

On tap at Brasserie Bellanger, Paris, France. An orange/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Sweetish, hoppy, malty, caramel aroma and taste. Rather enjoyed this one, had 3 half litre glasses of it with my tasty meal in the Paris sunshine.

On tap at Maison BapBap, Friday 2nd September 2022, thanks to Phil Lowry for the suggestion. Pours hazy amber with a white head, some caramel on the nose, citrus and a sweet then light prickly bitterness, finishes dry.
