Due to the combination of over-fermentation, acidification by fermentation with Brettanomyces and infusion with American oak, a gentle sour, fresh beer with clear notes of wood is obtained.

Bottle - Slightly soured malts and a hint of cherry. Clear copper with a rich beige head. Light sour tartness, some acidity some light malts. A pretty mundane and tame version of a great style.

750mL bottle shared by Pruf from the Rare Beer Club. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. What were they trying to make here? Its vegetal, bark, and leaves. To call it sour is an extreme exaggeration. Musky wet leaves, maybe. Light bodied. The upside, pretty head.

Tulip glass from Rare Beer club bomber. Dark amber with white head, pleasant sour nose. Dryly lemon tart, not sharply tangy. Lower ABV than I prefer for a Flemish style ale. Clean finish. Likeable.

750mL bottle, pours a dark amber orange with a small off-white head. Nose brings out dental floss, a dentist office and Belgian yeast. Flavour is lightly tart, with tart dark fruits, light oak, and Belgian yeast. Nicely tart, without the dental notes that are present on the nose. Quite nicely balanced. Much better on the flavour than the nose.
