Small head over copperish tinted, veiled orange beer. Old bread, dusty hops, bit as hard, old cheese. Very bitter indeed, with a serious overdose of C- and similar hops. Orange marmalade & -peel. Only warming up gives some balance, with some caramelly near-sweetness. Dry, dry-out effect, very long bitter aftertaste. I’m not over the moon with this. Its indifferent bitterness, unidimensional hopping can’t make me jump with joy.

Bottled. A hazy dark golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has strong notes of exotic fruits - mango and mandarins on a malty background. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of manderins, mango, and peaches, combined with notes of malt, caramel, hops,,and grapefruit, leading to a very bitter finish. Nice body.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a cloudy amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is really amazing with massive aromas of sweet exotic fruits, I pick up peach, mango, apricot - and probably many more. There’s a twist of phenols and a suggestion of alcohol heat up there too. Body is only medium, some underlying sweet fruit accents and then all the tropical flavours come rushing back at you. Some bitterness yeah and a little heat, but in general this hides the alcohol very well. A very complex brew almost akin to a tropical liqueur. Yummy yummy! 080111

ChrisOs Christmas Tasting. Big thanks to Fonefan. Hazy amber beer with a little white head. Light hoppy nose. Light soft and semi dry palate. Minerally strong hops - piney and somewhat grassy. Orange marmalade and a trace of grapefruit. Creamy malt holds it all together. Lovely strong IPA and very drinkable.

Clear amber color, small white head. Light grassy and fruity hoppy aroma. Dangerously drinkable beer. Medium bodied. Crisp hoppyness, fruity, pine needles, citrus. Nicely in balanced. Doesn’t show its ABV at all.
