Darker brown with ruby highlights, clean, with a beige, frothy head, long lasting and leaving some light, foamy lacing. Roasted malt base aromas with a touch of nuttiness, as the Macadam gives out buttery notes. Some mild dark fruits as well, after breathing. The cacao comes out a little in the flavours, with the roasted barley and hints of molasses. The mouthfeel is pretty wet, but does have some nice building dryness. Not sure the Macadam nuts do work alone with a Porter, and maybe more cacao would help.

Canette, 473 ml, achetée à la brasserie le 18 mai 2023, savourée le 24 mai 2023; œil : noire, opaque, pas d’effervescence, mince couverture de mousse beige, pas de dentelle; nez : torréfaction, café, noix, chocolat; bouche : torréfaction, café, noix, chocolat, houblon amérisant, finale en chocolat avec très légère présence de noix, corps moyen, carbonatation légèrement sous la moyenne, un peu plus amère que prévu, légèrement sucrée, texture coulante; en résumé : correct
