Cask as Twice Brewed Bitter. Clear golden yellow color. Aroma of light pepper. Taste is lightly toasted caramel.

Cask at the Kings Head, Carlisle. Pours clear pale gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light caramel, light lemon. Taste is light sweet. Clean finish, if a bit thin.

On tap at Twice Brewed Inn. Pours golden with white head. Malty, caramel, bit fruity and watery.

Golden ale with a true bitterness, fine tasting with an excellent body to it.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Slightly hazy golden colour, off-white head. Nose is slight vegetables, light maltyness, some fruits. Flavour is light malted, metallic, bit of fruits. Slightly dry finish. Not well.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, white nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average to long duration, nutty bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100805]

Cask@GBBF2010. Goldeny orange colour, small off-white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is fruits, wood, nectar some mild earth as well as floral hoppyness. Flavour is mild liquorice, some fruits, wood and quite grassy and herbal towards the finish. Pleasant.
