Single from EarlyBird. $6.28...ugh. Kept sleeping in the fridge for a few months. Clear Solo cup at home. Nice cascade reveals a clear, dark brown & ruby brew with a slight thin but lathery cookie dough head. Smells of mild toast, light char, soap, oily mild coconut & a hint of dark chocolate. Nose gets more chocolate as it warms. Taste is more chocolate forward with some sharp malt & an astringent earthy hop middle before getting doused with bittersweet coconut. The coconut isn't super strong but it lingers as a nutty toastiness & bittersweet feel creeps in. Not a sugar bomb. Thin, kinda strong carb, somewhat acidy, abv is a little stiff. Okay to good. Just needed more of any one thing.

Lots of coconut and some roast. Dark brown pour without much head or lacing. Bittersweet finish with some macademia. Tap at brewery.
