Black Forest is a very rich, thick, and flavoursome porter, in the style of those brewed in old London. The aroma brings roasted coffee and oak. Dark chocolate, espresso and charred malts follow and the long finale is dark, fruity, and bittersweet.

Can from Drinkmonger. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of plum and blackcurrant. Flavour of coffee and dark chocolate. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Rich and very easy to drink. This is excellent.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen - black pour with a beige head. Sweet and light roasted dark malty with some notes of chocolate, some dark fruit, medium body, sweet malty close.

Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy nice roasted aroma. Heavy biter nice roasted flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. NIce porter.

Bottle @ home. Opaque black color, average sized light brown colored head. Smell and taste malts, some iron, malt bitter, dark malts, rather dry finish, some liquorice. Decent body and carbonation. Ok beer.
