More a porter than a stout really but we just love the name!
Our first test version was so overpowering it stained the glass, we’ve reined it in a bit to make it more civilised!!

Handpull cask from a Room a With a Brew. Dark brown, translucent with a cream-coloured head and lots of lacing. Roast coffee, citrus sourness in the intense aroma. Sweet sour taste, which rounds to a gentle black coffee for the finish. Body is flat. Maybe not the most excitIng beer, but it's well-made and delicious to drink. My first from this brewery and on this beer's merits it's recommended.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at Leicester Beer festival, 11/3/2017. Near black in colour, with a thin, beige, head. An easy drinking stout with touch of chocolate, toasted malts and caramel before a dryish finish. Good.

Cask handpump at A Room with a View, Nottingham, Saturday 9th April 2016 with dad. Chestnut brown with a light filmy beige head, there is reddy glint to this. It is a safe stout/porter a bit safe, some nuttiness, it’s fine. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1
