Cask @ The Sidings, Castletown. Smooth and malty-sourish in the beginning. Smooth and nice, fresh and not too easy to drink with still deepness there. The mainpart is malty-smooth, nice ale character, no real bitterness, dry-sourish aley aftertaste, smooth, malty. On the tongue remains a malty-sourish ale aroma.

Half pint, reviewed at the Great British Beer Festival 4th Aug 2010. This beer is dry hopped and has five different varieties in the brew. The colour is a pleasant reddy amber, the head almost pure white, but not quite. Hops dominate the smell, but not enough to put you off trying to find other notes (none of which I could find). The taste has a hoppy bite which gets stronger all the time the beer is in the mouth, and also as the mouth dries in the aftertaste. There is a malt input, but very mild in strength, nicely blended, but a beer with more hops than malts within.

On gravity at Swindon beer festival, 27/10/2011. Amber with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of sweetish malts, with some hedgerow fruit and grassy hops. Flavour had some robust malts, touch of fruit and decent bitter finish. Good.

GBBF. Cask. Light sulphur on the nose but mercifully not in the beer! Clear amber coloured with a suddy off white head. Mild toffee in the malt. A little fresh hop. Over dry finish. Meh!
