On tap at Bir&Fud Rome-Italy (I think handpump but not sure). Pors dark amber with reddish highlights, clear with a tick medium ivory brownish head. Nose: dry fruit, nuts, dust. Some coffee background. Mouth: a rich mild beer, nuts, burnt malts, astringent end. Very tasty!

Cask at Tap East after velodrome session. Nice but brown / ruby red coloured pour with a lasting cream coloured head. Aroma is nice Moorish fruit and nuts, dried raisin, red berry, rum, little vanilla. Flavour is layered nutty, caramel, raisin, varnish. Little solvent on the tongue. Solid flavoursome mild. Palate is medium sweet, medium bodied with low to average cask condition. Enjoyable mild.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico, 16/06/14. Mahogany brown with reddish hues and moderate light tan edgework. Nose is malty, nutty, dark fruit rind, tobacco, light cocoa. Taste comprises fruit loaf, earthy rinse, more tobacco, dark fruit peel, faint tea leaves. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok mild, plenty of flavour for the style but so it should at 6%!

On cask at the Stockbridge Tap. Appearance - dark amber to chestnut with lovely red chinks. Nice creamy head - perfect. Nose - biscuits caramel and liquorice. Taste - chocolate caramel biscuits with a hint of spice. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy yet crunchy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - great stuff though I’d say this was an ESB rather than a Mild

Cask @ O’Connell’s Irish Pub
Forms a head, which is suprising for a real ale. Rather light aroma with sweet malt and caramel. Flavour is malty, slightly spicy and rather rich. Did not expect this kind of richness from a real ale.

Cask at the Craft Beer Co. It pours hazy dark brown, with a thick, fluffy beige head and low carbonation. The nose is leather, wood, roasted malt, chocolate and toffee. The taste is sweet caramel, milk chocolate, brown sugar, ripe dark fruit, decent bitterness, roasted malt, wood, polish and leather, with a dry finish. A very flavoursome mild.
