Flaske fra Best of Beers. Rav farvet med et hvidt skum. Dufter af sød malt og karamel. Den er meget sød og kedelig.

50cl bottle from a trade with fonefan, thanks! Pours clear amber colour with a huge good lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramelish strong malt, bread, riped fruits. Taste of caramel, strong malt, nuts, bread, a bit sticky.

Clear, dark amber. Frothy offwhite head. Grainy, malty aroma, also some caramel and hoppy notes. Flavour is bittersweet, more caramel and late hop bitterness.

50 cl. bottle, shared. Clear, amber colour with a small, fast fading white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, fruits, light toast, a hint of fruits. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a creamy texture and an average carbonation. Finishes lightly sweet with only a hint of bitterness. Rather bland Bock.

500ml bottle, trade with Skinnyviking. Crystal clear, amber coloured body, off-white head with lots of dimples. Laces well. Pale malts and dried fruits on the nose. Moderate flavours of caramel and dried fruity supported by hints of dark spices. Malt-fruity ending with alcohol coming through. Medium bodied. Fits the season on a rather average level (hotel room, Copenhagen 07.12.2013).

Bottle. Pours clear darkish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of hops and malt, with notes of fruit and clear touches of metal. Bitter, hoppy flavour, with sparse fruity, malty and caramellish notes. Bitter finish, with a great deal of metal. Nothing special, if drinkable.

Bottle from Brugsen - amber pour with small off-white head. Sweet malts, some weak caramel/toffee, slightly watery, bit sweet overall, not one of the better Julebryg’s out there this year to me.

Bottle. Pours clear amber with small offwhite head. Aroma is caramel, citrus and soap. Taste is light bitter and light umami. Body is light oily and dry with average carbonation. Finish is short and dry with notes of caramel and some hops. Rather boring with no associations of Christmas (you wonder why it is called a Christmas brew?).
