Half pint from the cask at the Red Lion, Gatwick Airport. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aromas & tastes of flora, citrus, apple, herbs & hops. Moderate body. Light bitter finish. Enjoyable

8/4/2024. Cask at the Red Lion, Gatwick Airport North Terminal. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, citrus, floral, leafy, very slightly spiced and herbal. Moderate sweetness, bitterness and body. Fine carbonation. Drying finish. Easy drinking (just as well, it is 6:15am).

Pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. The aroma is fruit, lemon and light citrus with some eggy notes. A moderately sweet taste, light sweet pale malts, hay, and lemon flavours with a light bitterness.

Cask at London & Rye, Catford. Gold pour with a white head. Heavy citrus nose. Refreshing bright and citrusy. Goes down nicely.

Cask at Swan, Farnborough. Feint floral citrus aroma. Bright gold. Fluffy bubbly head. Light bitter. Herby. Malts. Hint of citrus. Medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Abrupt finish. Inoffensive. Good on a hot day.

Cask@The Mute Swan, Surrey - golden pour with a medium white head. Aroma and taste is light citrus fruity, buttery, floral and grassy, sweet malty, refreshing and easy drinking, great condition, lovely golden ale this.

Gravity cask at the Strongroom London beer fest. Pours clear, yellow gold with a mild, frothy white cap. Doughy pale malt nose, hints of hay. Light sweet flavor, more doughy malts, white bred, light straw bitterness, hints of lemon and cereal. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly dry and butter to finish, further simple sweet and doughy malts. Simple and drinkable golden ale.
