Kings Head, Norwich. Light brown clear beer. Low carbonation, semi dry palate. Nutty with a very light touch of chocolate. A little lactose and a trace of glue! A peep of hop fruit in the finish. Not bad.

Cask, handpump at The Kingston Arms, Cambridge 27-03-10 Pours mid amber with a thin white head. There is toffee, its a touch sweet and in fact rather one dimensional but at £2.20 a pint its described as a ’recession busting beer’ and I cant argue, because its pleasant enough, maybe lacking in bitterness, touch chewy with toffee again.
