Bottle thanks to Brian! This is an interesting one. Pours hazy pale amber, small white head, dissipates quickly with decent lacing. Aroma is fairly smoky, apple cider, some wheat. Flavor is light plus smoky, light sweet, very light bitter. Interesting flavor combination. Not entirely sure it works, but glad to have tried it.

Bottle. Hazy golden amber color, small white head. Aroma of light char, apples, spice. Taste is earthy, smoky, herbal. Tasty.

A hazed golden ale with no head. In aroma, weird tart cherry with light apples, fart, light smokey notes, so-so. In mouth, a nice tart beer with light ground cherry, light Brett, green apples, nice and refreshing.

At a tasting session with Sebastian Sauer. Hazy orange color with hardly any head. Smoky bacon smell, a bit spicy. Taste is smoky bacon, then apples and a dry sour finish. Good carbonation, good tartness. Despite being very special, it is very drinkable. Applerauchweizen sounds like a crazy idea, but it turned out great!

Toller leicht sauer-rauchiger Antrunk. Mild mit frischer Apfelnote. Weich mit leicht milchsaurer Hefe im Hauptteil. Mild mit leicht salzig(?) rauchigem Nachgeschmack. Säuerliche Apfelnote auf der Zunge! Lecker erfrischend!

500ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Slightly ephemeral, smoky aroma in ham direction, like a condensed extract of a Schwarzwälder Schinken’s crumbly, dark red edge slices, unspecific fruity undertones. Taste is minimally tart, slightly dry, smoky, salty, notes of ham, green apple, unfiltered apple juice, laurel, juniper berry; light and refreshing. "Ein ’must have’ für den Smoke-junkie, ein ’no go’ für den Rauchhasser."
