Bottle. Golden in Color with a two finger head. Aroma and taste of Apple..check. Aroma and taste of very light smoke..check. Ok not bad. Actually pretty good.

Draught @ Hanging Bat Beer Cafe, 133 Lothian Road, Edinburgh, Scotland EH3 9AD. [ As Freigeist Abraxxxas Apple Lichtenhainer ].Unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, smoke, apple, rubber - plastic - burnt plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, rubber - plastic, pale malt, smoke, apple, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160320] 5-3-6-3-12

Tap at Beer Geek Bar. Only light smokiness, combined well with only light apple presence. Overall rather light in intensity, but relatively complex in its subtlety. I also get a slightest hint of alcohol. Good and easy drinking.

Draught at BeerGeek Bar. Hazy, yellow colored. AROMA- apples, wheat, vanilla, clove. FLAVOR- lightly sweet, sour, spicy, apples, yeasty, smoked malt. Medium bodied.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Hazy orange golden with a white head. Aroma of smoked apple, very weird. A burnt apple pie in a glass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. [04/08/2016]

F: average, off-white, normal retention. C: golden, hazy. A: smoked tones compared with light fruity tones, very similar to pear version. T: malty, light smoked tones, light fruity sourness, apple, pear, hint of woody, medium body, normal carbonation, hard to say if it is good, smoked tones should be in this style but I expect more apple fruity in this because it´s almost the same as a pear version, but still interesting beer and decent to me, 50cl bottle shared at RBBSG V (2016), many thanks.
