A collaborative Session IPA made with our friends at Thornbridge Brewery and brewed with flavour, mouthfeel and drinkability in mind. Malted Rye, Golden Naked Oats and Aromatic Malt were used for body and flavor. Cascade, Amarillo, Simcoe & Centennial hops were chosen for delicious bright citrus and pine aroma and flavor. The beer was fermented with WLP002 (London Ale 2) to accentuate the sweet, full body of the malt and fruit filled character of the hops.

Level 42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Fergus for the can. Light haze on this gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a little dry, mild creamy sweetness. Modest spicy orange and mild tangerine, little bitter lemon. Not bad, mild spicy bitter linger.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy golden with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, fruity, peach, apricot, marmalade, honeyed oats, brioche and cake. The taste is dry, bitter, quite green, grassy, onion, pine needles upfront, then sweet, pithy, zesty, orange peel, apricot, peppery spice, toasted oat and biscuit with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice juicy aroma to it. Decent.
