29 December 2019. At Dok Brewing Company. Shared with Anke! Pours cloudy black with a lasting, small, foamy, beige head; lots of lacing. Inviting aroma of cream, custard, fondant, coffee, toast, walnut, brownie, roasted nuts. Taste is medium malty sweet, very nutty, notes of chocolate, brownie & chocolate sauce; light roasted bitterness provides toast & coffee with a touch of vanilla, faint dark fruits, slightest hint of umami. Dry, toasty, herbal & earthy hoppy finish, lingering vanilla, toast, milk chocolate, and subtly warming coffee liqueur alcohol. Full body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. Pure sensation!
