Old Fountain. Cask. Clear dark red beer, no real head. Smooth palate with almost no carbonation. Mellow dark malts with light touches of coffee and dark fruits. Very mild bitterness. Finishes light and a little dry. A bit flaccid but okay.

Bottled. Ambery brown colour with a big foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma and flavour do quite much the same things, mild roasted malts, some nuttiness, mild chocolate, toffee, and a bit fudgelike sweetness. All this ending in a slightly bitter floral way. wellbalanced!
