Like someone poured liquid chocolate in beer. Nice in a way, but also a bit too sweat and like chocolate milk.

Cloudy and very dark brown beer, good tan head. Fresh dark malt, coffee and minerals on the nose. Light palate, crispy, semi dry. Fresh tasting dark malt. Light porter like tang. Whisper of dark chocolate and coffee. Sweetish seltzer minerals. Dry finish, smooth. Slightly bitter aftertaste. Well joined up beer - always interesting.

Bottle from De Bierkoning, Amsterdam, 03.03.12 consumed at home 04.03.12 Pours black with a light beige head. A strange sort of aroma, sort of one part millpond with one part chocolate, fortunately the millpond does not show in the mouth and it is chocolate all the way, nice bitter cocoa, fruity with some dusty hops, good stuff. Bottled. A pitch black beer with a huge dark brown head. The aroma has notes of chocolate, over ripe fruits, hops, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, over ripe fruits, dusty hops, and chocolate, leading to a dry yeasty finish.

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks zvikar. Black with a brown head. Aroma of brett, roasted malt and faint chocolate hints. Sourish and slightly sweetish flavor with brett, some roastiness, light fruitiness and burnt notes. Medium-bodied. Maybe a bit infected, but I like it that way. 7/4/7/3/15=3.6
