Bottled@my birthdaybash@Chriso. Amber colour, not too much head. Aroma is wood, some nutty notes as well as malts and mild resiny notes. Flavour is rather similar in a nice balance. Also some slight earthy and herbal notes.

Bottle at Pat’s birthday tasting at chriso’s. Pours clear gold with a fine, white head. Grain, leaves and toasty sugar define this beer. Light in body with fine carbonation. Slightly dry on the finish with some leafy bitterness, grain, and faint caramel. A pretty typical bitter.

Shared in company of Craig, Stella, Jan, Charlotte, Fritz and Loz 30.10.10 Pours murky brown without much of a head, some nuts (walnut?) and maltiness. A little hoppy sting at the end, soft in the mouth, some citrus. Not a great looker but another fine Wagtail beer. A6 A2 T7 P4 Ov13 3.2
