On tap at the restaurant/bar Europarc, Reindlau, Austria Tuesday 28th December 2021. Pours gold, excellent clarity, white head. Decent, straightforward pilsner, clean, refreshing, could do with a bit more bite and hoppiness otherwise fine.

Farblich hellgelb und klar. Die feinporige flaumig-stabile weiße Schaumkrone hält sich ganz gut. Der Duft hält sich sehr zurück, überzeugt aber mit einer süßlich floralen und leicht würzigen Note, die in erster Linie vom Hopfen dominiert wird. Hintergründig nimmt man leichte Malznoten wahr. Der Antrunk kommt sehr frisch, angenehm spritzig und süßlich floral. Auch im Mittelteil setzt sich diese überaus gefällige fruchtig-florale Hopfennote, die sich sehr muskatig zeigt und an Hollunderblüte und Weintrauben (Muskat, Muskateller) erinnert. Der Malzcharakter bleibt zwar im Hintergrund, aber eine leichte getreidige Note lässt sich schon ausmachen. Ebenso hält sich die Herbe des Hopfens sehr im Hintergrund. Das ergibt also ein sehr aromatisches, süßliches Pils. Kein Vergleich zu einem klassischen herben Pils, aber trotzdem ein gutes Bier mit einer ausgewogenen Aromatik und eben aromatisch hopfenbetont. Trotz der eher süßen Aromatik bleibt dieses Bier relativ schlank und lässt sich sehr gut trinken. Im Abgang bleibt die Süße gut erhalten und die Aromen von Hollunderblüte und Muskat halten lange an. Eine ganz leichte Herbe schwingt hintergründig mit.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Grainy, strawy, pale malty aroma with a touch of horse dung, slightly grassy, minimally floral hoppy counterpart, minimally soapy overtones. Taste is dry, grassy hoppy, sweet-ish, grainy, slightly strawy, minimally biscuity, pale malty, a touch of chlorophyll, a mineral touch. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft carbonation. Nicely hopped with some floral and mineral aspects, overall too grainy and strawy - so-so.

Clear gold. Moderate white frothy head. Aroma: grains, crackers, spicy hop, light skunk. Light body. Taste: light sweet and bitter. Malts and hops. Could be more hoppy though.

330ml bottle from trade with Sebelinz. Many thanks! Pours a generally clear golden yellow, good white head. Aroma is perhaps sweeter than expected, continuing to taste with a soft buttery smooth, bready malt character with a low bitterness. Not bad.

Very light yellow, clear body, with a small, quickly dissipating head.
Light aroma of grains, grass, flowers, some sweetness, a bit metallic.
Tastes quite similar, but not as light as the nose, with some more herbs.
Light, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes moderate bitter, a bit dry, a bit hoppy, floral, grass, a bit sweet.

Average. Looks and smells like beer mixed with soda water. Tastes OK though, clean and crisp, with light hoppy notes. Overall much too thin for my liking, more Pale Lager than Pils, while still not a bad beer.

0.5L bottle thanks to Manfred. Pours out a pale straw color topped with a white head. Nose is a light baby skunk some grain and grass. Taste is more of the light skunky notes light grain and some grassy notes.
