Bottle. Pretty dark chestnut, golden foam. Meaty roast aroma. Medium to light body mellow mouthfeel. Light metallic roast notes, burned caramel, minerals, some moppy oxidized notes, herbal and ferrous grassy hops, some lighter hop aromatics linger.

Bottled, from Biershop Bayern. Clear nut brown, firm head. Chocolate and pears up front. Quite dry with medium body and crisp mouthfeel. Cocoa powder, ripe fruit, notes of leather. Fairly low bitterness. Unusually dry dunkel.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlichbraunes Bier mit ordentlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch leicht röstmalzig, leicht schokoladig, Karamell. Geschmack röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht schokoladig, gering würzig.

500ml bottle. Clear, copper-ish brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Malty aroma, hints of malt lozenge, some malt-spiciness. Taste is minimally sweet malty, hints of malt lozenge, some malt-spiciness. OK.

Pours a deep red-brown with a little lacing. Nice aroma of coffee, chocolate malts. Tastes of coffee and coco with some earthiness at the end.

Bottled. Deep amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, toffee and some fruity notes as well. Flavour is sweet dark fruity, mildly roasted notes, some chocolate as well as mild nuttyness.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.Clear medium red brwon - amber color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to lgiht heavy malty, bread, caramel, light roasted and nutty. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark bread, roasted bitter, dusty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101016]

Swing-top bottle. Sweet cola-caramel malt aroma. Dark chestnut color with nice head. Sweet caramel malt flavor with a lightly bitter grass hops finish. Watery body. Really like the flavor - just wish it were more forward.
