On draft at Maifield Derby Festival 2025, Friday 30th May 2025. Pours hazy yellow, but this is a calculated guess as my festival drinking mug is hard plastic and green and covered in beer stickers, though the white head I can definitely confirm. Yeasty and with a little banana, soft mouthfeel, but as Loz suggests a touch sweet.

On tap at the brewpub.

1/VIII/2012 - on tap @ Woinemer Hausbrauerei - BB: n/a - (2012-801)
Cloudy yellow to orange beer, creamy off-white head, pretty stable, little adhesive. Aroma: lots of sweet ripe banana, almost artificial, little spicy. Not complex enough. MF: soft to no carbon, light body. Taste: sour wheaty start, sweet banana, little lemony, banana peel. Aftertaste: yeast, little sour, ripe banana. Very plain and simple, a bad excuse for a Hefeweizen.

2011-05-25, draught at Zum Parapluie, in Bensheim, 6-3-6-2-11=28
Muddy orange-amber color, with a compact, generous head. The aroma shows some sourness, but also some mild malt and wheat, hay and grass. The wheat flavor is moderate, with nice banana touch and very light biscuity note; unfortunately for me the body is quite weak and the mouthfeel very dry; hence the final is quite weak and short. Not bad, but I had a better batch previously.
2010-08-30, draught at the brauhaus, 7-3-7-2-14=33
Cloudy orange-golden color; creamy head. It has a nice aroma of banana, and even biscuity malt; some white sugar. It has a light wheat flavor, with a precise banana touch, and light bubblegum; it seems sweeter, but also because the bitterness is very low in the front, better balanced in the end. The final shows traces of hay. Well executed, fresh Weizen.
