500 ml bottle. Clear golden, foamy head. Some malt, cardboard, light citrus, almost no hops. Mild dry bitterness, malty sweetness. Rather full bodied for a Helles, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, mild dry sweetish finish. Pretty inoffensive and bland Helles, but not totally bad.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, leicht fruchtig.

50cl bottle, label says Burgerbräu Helles. Poured pale golden with a white head. aroma is sweet malty, grainy. Flavor is grain, hay and sweet malt. Light body, too sweet to be really enjoyable.

Bottled@Quinns, London. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood and some grassy notes. Flavour is bready, earthy and slightly herbal. Quite standard Helles.

Bottle 500ml.ABV. 5.0%. Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light hoppy, grass, silage, cardboard notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to light light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, acrid bitter, cardboard notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20101016]

Bottle. Sugary nose, Hazy pale golden, white cream. Surprising amount of unfermented sugar given the beer is so close to its best before date, Ok balance, but crude, peppery residue, quick finish. Boring.
