Cask at the Market Porter. It pours clear golden-amber with a decent off-white head. The nose is earthy, dough, mild Harvey’s sulphur, biscuit and straw. The taste is crisp, bitter-sweet, biscuit malt base, earth, grassy, straw, floral, pepper and a touch of honey with a dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation.a big step up from the bottled version. Solid Harvey’s action.

From cask at Charlies, Copenhagen. Pours clear and golden orange with a small, dense and off-white head. Vague hoppy and light malty aroma. Sweet, light fruity to vague brettish-like initial flavoured. Goes gradually more dry and bitter yet with a persisting fruity note. Bitter and fruity hoppy finish with either a hops or brett-ish dryness, yet distinct fruity too.
