Pours amber with a lasting head.Nose shows floral, grassy, spicy and herbal hops along with some Belgian-like spicy phenols. Some light malt underneath provideding some sweetness.Similar flavours in terms of hops, big spicy and herbal notes. The Belgian notes are still there too, giving it a saison character. Some sweet clean malt underneath followed by an assertive bitterness.Nice moderately-high carbonation.Pretty solid stuff.

Draught at Open Baladin Roma. Deep orange-amber with lace. Rather strange aroma of oranges, milk, slightly ripe cabbage, minerals. Minerally flavor with light citrus, crisp fresh cabbage, nice hops, light peach. Still vegetal, dry as hell. Quite challenging, and possibly a bit off form, but interesting and got better, though not great.

11712/2011 La Tana (tap). Dorata, bellissima, schiuma morbida, abbastanza abbondante e persistente. Naso splendido, speziato, note floreali di sambuco e fruttato delicato, con note di ananas e pesca. In bocca è moderatamente amara, non molto lunga ma di una bevibilità assurda! Corpo leggerino, carbonazione soft. Concordo appieno, non è una saison.

GBBF, Bottle split with Scopey and Leighton. Hazy gold beer, good off white head. Light smooth palate., semi dry. Yeasty lagerish pale malt. Mild citrus blends in to the overall dryness. A little strong on the pale malt. Some water chesnut in the finish which is semi dry. Tasty.

Bottle at GBBF 2011, Day 1, shared with Ken and Paul. Pours cloudy gold with a fluffy, white head. Has a lageresque grain and cereal aroma. Very pleasant flavor, lightly sweet with lots of cereal, mild dough and floral bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lovely bread and dough to finish. Really, it’s lagerish! So, so drinkable. Glad to try this.
