Cask @ The Capital Asset JDW, Perth 150212
Copper(!) amber...clear...creamy white head...good lacing
Aroma of light caramel...hint of roast.....not much on the nose
Taste of light caramel.....bit of toasted malts...some bitter hops and light toffee...ok
Palate - soft carb..thinnish body..light bitter. Finish of light bitter roast and biscuit.
Overall - Just a standard session bitter - it’s quite ok

On tap @ the Edinburgh University Library Bar. Pours a nice pleasant amber colour with a decent appealing head. The nose is very biscuity with a hint of toffee. The taste has more of the same with perhaps sultanas. The palate has a medium body and medium-thick texture with a nice clean finish. Overall, a good ale.

Cask-conditioned at the Halfway House, Edinburgh 7/06/2011. Deep amber in colour with a slight, off-white head. Aroma of caramel and tangerines with some grassy hops. Flavour had plenty more ripe fruit, toffee and a dryish finish. Good.

@ Blackfriars, Glasgow. Deep copper-bronze, looks great. The aroma is woody and fruity. Simple palate, led by sweet toffeeish malts. Only a vague hop character.
