Cask at the Brew Wharf, Borough. Can I just say that I like Phil a lot? We have had a lot of history and I’m so pleased that after so many years he has had the chance to brew the beers that he wants in the epicentre of good beer in London. Good on ya Phil. Hazy gold beer with good hop aroma. Piney hops. PNW piney hops. Centennials on the dry hopping really come through. Quite creamy in the mouth. Pale malts just about stand up to the hop assault. Simcoes come through on the finish. Just really great to have these hop flavours in the UK. Good soft carbonation. Bit earthy even on the hops. Good stuff.

14th July 2010. Brew Wharf. This beer is also known as ’Sightless Swine’ - a tribute to a certain Russian River beer I would guess! Slightly hazy gold beer. Tiny white head. Fresh hops on the nose. Light dry palate. Moderate carbonation. Lovely fresh hops, grassy and piney and with some dry spice. Not that fruity but very aromatic. Finishes dry with some bitter grassy aftertaste.

Cask, half, in well kept condition, nicely presented in a special glass at the Brew Wharf. Patchy surface atop of a fine golden body with a slight haze. Aromatic hoppy, fruity shells to the nose. Very well hopped and balanced with sweet malts and spices. Lingering bitter ending and dryingly moreish. Well made (London, 16.07.2010).
