Bottle from Kisjes Slijterijen, Meppel. Aroma is dark malt, caramel, some brown sugar, subtle touch of chili pepper and a hint of roast. Flavour is moderate to medium sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. Good bittersweet Bock with a subtle touch of chili pepper.

Tap at Amersfoorts Bockbier Festival, 2016: Clear brown colored brew with an sweet bitter taste, hints of caramel, fruitiness and very faint chillipepper.

Fles gekregen van KimEnSander, geprobeerd met Roelzie1986. Het is een donkerbruin bier met een medium schuimkraag. Het heeft een kruidige wat zoete geur. De smaak is dropachtig, salmiak en peper.

Fles van Mitra Bunnik. Butterscotch, klein pepertje, toffee. Redelijk bitter nog. Interessant bockje en dat voor een brouwerij die voorheen echt alleen maar ondrinkbare meuk maakte.

Draft at De Vrienden. Near clear reddish brown with a cream head. Aroma of red berries, malt, caramel and light yeast. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Van Vulpen, Doorn. Clear light brown with a thin off-white head. Malty caramel aroma. Taste is bittersweet with a faint heat from the chili peppers and some fruity notes. Body is thin but adequate. Lively carbonation. Nice beer.
