Imperial Stout aged for 12 months in Heaven Hill and Wild Turkey barrels, with the addition of coffee and vanilla.
Piwo z historią. Zaczęliśmy od wyleżakowania klasycznej bazy stoutowej w beczkach po bourbonach Wild Turkey i Heaven Hill, w których dojrzewał przez dwanaście miesięcy. Walory wyciągnięte z drewna podbiliśmy dodatkami w postaci wanilii z Madagaskaru, ciemnego syropu klonowego i świeżo zaparzonej kawy (zielone ziarna brazylijskiej kawy leżakowaliśmy dodatkowo w beczkach po Grande Finale).
W aromacie i smaku, oprócz nut wanilii i syropu klonowego, wyczujecie bombonierkową wiśnie w czekoladzie, przebitą wyrazistą, niebanalną kawowością.
Zasyp: Słody jęczmienne: Pilzneński, Pale Chocolate, Brown, Crystal T50, Extra Dark, Carafa Special II; Słody owsiane: Owsiany, Golden Naked Oat; maltodekstryna
Dodatki: Wanilia Uganda i Madagascar, syrop klonowy, kawa leżakowana w beczkach po bourbonie

TCBW2024. Pitch black colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is chocolaty, some syrup, mild maple syrup, vanilla, coffee and some alcohol sweetness with a bit of wooden tones too. Flavour is quite similar, but shows the alcohol more evidently than the aroma. Intense, but not overly sweet luckily.

Bottle from Øltanken, Aabyhøj @ Home. Pours black with a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, rich dark chocolate, vanilla, bourbon. Flavor is sweet, roast malt, rich dark chocolate, vanilla, bourbon. Medium to full body, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. Smooth. 160525

Full bodied, low carbonation, high viscosity, oily texture.
Oily, sweet, rich, deep and complex....delish winter sipper.

Taste: chocolate, treacle, toffee, cinnamon, vanilla, maple syrup, light roast coffee.

Tap @MBCC 2024, Red Session. Oily black, small tan head. Heavy syrupy dark malty aroma, maple and booze. Boozy thick and rich dark malty flavour. Some coconut perhaps. Dusty nutty and dark malty finish.

CBJ Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan for the bottle. Near clear dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Good smooth light chocolate malts. Good earthy coffee offset by mild vanilla. Light finish. Nicely rich coffee.

Bottle shared at the craft beer junction bermondsey tasting. Many thanks to Daniel osprey for this one. A thicc dark brown black brown coloured pour a halo of tan head. Aroma is big sweet coffee bean. Oily, brown sugars, cinnamon. Oily, punchy. Flavour is composed of oily, medium sweet, camp coffee, coffee and walnut cake, oily, boozy, palate is oily, medium sweet, mellow carbonation.

Sample@TCBW2024 Opaque colour and small beige head. Strong coffee in the nose. Full-bodied. Sweet, roasted, cappuchino flavour. Malty. A bit too sweet but good.
