Cask at the Waiting Room, Whitby. Pours clear amber with a thin white head. Aromas of toffee and marzipan, something floral. Taste is pear, light citrus, light malt. Not as sweet as the nose suggests. Builds to a bitter finish. Nice.

Bottle, 5.9%, 10C. Hazy gold with a thick white head. Aroma of hay, lemons, peaches, some gooseberry, a bit herbal and earthy. Soft creamy texture, fairly light bodied, lowish carbonation. Sweet honeyed hay, lemon and grapefruit, firm bitter and dry finish with some herbs. Refreshing and a nice mix of old and new.
