Aroma of rich roasted malts, dark malts, dark plain chocolate, quite an intense aroma for the abv, soft coffee, good aroma

Palate - soft carb, medium body, quite rich, malis quite mouth clinging, fairly bitter roast but not too much with some nice sweet dark malts. Finish as main flavour, quite rich, fairly long rich dark malt linger.

Cask at CP&K. It pours dark brown with a small beige head. The nose is roasty, coffee grinds, liquorice, wood, light soy sauce and burnt toast. The taste is roasty, burnt toast, salty, touch of dark, scorched earth and liquorice with a rich roasty finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent stout, but a touch thinner than I would have liked.
