Аромат капец горький, прямо какая то трава от хмеля, и это в Балтийском портере, что дичь конечно. Есть кофеИ все на этом. Цвет черный, пенка кофейная. Вкус такой же, дичайше горький, во вкусе ничего не понятно ибо, чувствую себя коровой с утра в поле, одно горькое сено и только. При глотке кофе и горечь, от чего становится еще хуже. В целом не в стиль и просто плохое пиво.

Bottle from House of Trembling Madness, this one at 6.4%. Pours black with medium sized tanned head, settles to a nice creamy top. Aroma of chocolate, brown bread, hint of liquorice, coffee. Taste has a bitter coffee, chocolate dusting, liquorice, sweet berry tang, herbal and pine noted hoppy finish. Medium semi-smooth body, fine carbonation. Its very good.

Color negro opaco, espuma beige no muy abundante de retención media. Tanto en nariz como en boca se sienten notas de maltas torrefactas, cacao puro, café expreso y un puntito de regaliz. Es muy buena y me gusta, pero no me deja flipado como otras cervezas que he probado de The Kernel.

Bottle.Pitch black colour with large beige head.Aroma of cocoa and licorice nice toasted and roasted taste nice well balanced perhaps one of the best Porters in the world.

330ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, May 24. Thanks Mark for this one. Pours unclear dark / black with a good tan head. Prominent roasted malt aroma, dark chocolate. Proper Baltic action to taste. Deep ashy roast, cocoa, nice rounded depth with a robust bitterness, medium bodied. Lovely stuff.

Monday 27th May 2024, Shrewsbury Beer Share in Chez Sophie, five guys drinking beer and talking bollox. Cheers Mark for the 330ml bottle of this, I really enjoyed it. Tanned head on a black body. Dark chocolate feel to the taste, semi-bitter and every inch a Baltic Porter.

330ml bottle, 6.8%. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast malts, some ash/smoke. Taste of dark chocolate, roast malts, smoke/ash, burnt malts, dry and quite a bitter finish. Medium bodied, creamy (but not sweet) and smooth. Excellent Baltic Porter.
