The big brother to our Suns Out Hops Out Session IPA. Way more Citra and Mosaic give this beer even more citrus aromas and flavor.

Slightly hazy golden and light copper coloured body with a thinnish, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of crisp pungent resinous and dry grassy hops with a nice bit of sugars and complex biscuity and lightly grainy malt note. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and resinous flavour at first with a big kick of pine, cleanser and a touch of fruit noticeable at the end, mainly from apricots. Aftertaste is deep and robust with a big kick of hops around along with some lighter sugars, a touch of dry hay and some complex yeast notes throughout. Overall, a nice and relatively simple and easy drinking Imperial IPA. Good to sample on draught and well worth trying if you like the style and see it locally. I sampled this sixteen ounce pour on draught at Whole Foods in Pentagon City (Arlington), Virginia on 18-September-2017 for US$6,00 sampled at the end of my driveway.

32oz growler from the brewery, pours a crystal clear orange with some lacing, white head. Nose is big with orange and orange juice, some citrus zest, pine, some candy. Flavor is well balanced between malt and honey, citrus and pine, heavy with orange but some grapefruit here too, a little soap. Interestingly, I don't get any of the Mosaic character. Finishes bitter and dry. Old school and smooth.
